Chuck Bucket 2.0 w/ Full Tilt BASE Post
People have been loving the Chuck Bucket since our Kickstarter raised over $70,000 in 2021; we've been developing the Chuck Bucket 2.0 based on customer feedback ever since.
The Chuck Bucket 2.0 is even easier, beefier, and tiltier than the original Chuck Bucket:
- The upper ring has been reinforced with thicker aluminum and four aluminum pillars on the corners of the bucket, which also serve as additional docking points for gear.
- The tilting mechanism has been upgraded to a two-stage tilt that allows for the bucket to be tilted to ninety degrees. Note: full 90 degree tilt may require repositioning of bucket, removal of optional corner posts or modifications.
- The triangle stabilizer in the hitch stud has been replaced with a ball stabilizer for easier installation
- A neoprene cover for the top ring comes standard, as do rubber guards on the edges of the bucket.

The Chuck Bucket isn't just for Winter
From ski boots to golf bags, inflatable paddleboards to soggy camp chairs—the Chuck Bucket handles all the gear you don’t want inside your car.
It’s made for the muddy, the wet, the bulky. Toss in your camp gear, river gear, beach gear—whatever your summer mission looks like.
Mounts to your hitch. Stays out of the way. Ready for whatever’s next.

Your Adventure Passport
Every trip tells a story.
And your Chuck Bucket? It’s the journal.
Load it up, hit the road, slap on a sticker at every stop. The gnar. The powder days. The sketchy gas station tacos. They all live here.
This isn’t just your gear bucket—it’s your trail record. Your memory bank. Your moving scrapbook of stoke.

Tried. Tested. Trusted.

"We no longer have to Tetris-pack the back of my SUV! All 4 of our boards to fit and I can still use the back of my car to get everyone dressed and ready! I’ve had my eye on this thing for over a year and it’s finally here making my life easier"
"This makes perfect sense for me. I drive a jeep 2-door wrangler so I can't install a roof rack and my skis don't fit inside. Now my family of 4 can all fit in to go up.
"We’ve got a family of six, which means a lot of gear—and before the Chuck Bucket, loading up for the mountain was a total mess. Nothing really fit, and getting everyone out the door felt like a chore.
Now we leave the Chuck Bucket on the van all season. The kids can toss their own skis in and grab them when we get there. It’s low, easy, and actually makes our mornings smoother. Total game-changer for a family that just wants to get up and go."
"This option is perfect for me! The top of my is where I have a complete overland setup so I had to toss my skis and boards in back until I found this. Now I can keep the inside of my car clean, scratch-free and its so much easier.
